We value traditional contemplative traditions and teachers, one-on-one and small group interactions among practitioners and teachers, earnestness, compassion and humility.
We think of the CCE as an umbrella organization. The CCE has a “resident teacher,” Marcy Crawford, and it will engage in a variety of initial activities, but as it grows, we expect that other teachers will become affiliated with it and it will come to offer unanticipated forms of support for earnest practitioners in a variety of traditions and institutional environments.
