Our mission is to create a go-to institution to support earnest practitioners and teachers in all traditions and to provide an umbrella organization for those interested in bridging the gap between earnest non-secular and secular practice benefits.
The CCE recognizes that there is an abundance of organizations which focus on introducing newcomers to meditation. The non-secular aspects of the CCE are primarily intended to help those who already have a contemplative practice to enrich it by building a community of earnest practitioners and teachers who can provide mutual support. The CCE does not promote any particular approach to spiritual advancement other than seeking to know, to the best of one’s ability, the true nature of one’s self.
Regarding the secular aspects of the CCE, particularly Embodied Teaching™, the intent of the CCE is to create avenues by which individuals and institutions can become aware of and learn to implement basic relational mindfulness. We anticipate these avenues including online live courses, self-paced courses, on-site events, consulting, free resources, books, and more.
